There are a few relatively undiscovered gems in Orlando that you may wish to explore. As most crowds head towards Disney World or Universal Studios, head towards these:
- Visit the Ron Jon Surf Park, a wave machine pool designed specifically for surfing and bodyboarding.
- Stroll around the Harry P Leu Gardens.
- Travel down to Kissimmee and take an Air Boat Ride (BC Airboats / Airboat Tours) and experience the Central Florida Everglades, together with it's wildlife.
- Visit NASA's Kennedy Space Centre a short distance away from Orlando.
- Take a helicopter tour of Orlando with Air Florida.
- Soar above Disney World in an Orange Blossom or Thompson Aire hot air balloon at dawn.
- Spend some time at Orlando's Holy Land Experience.
- Visit WonderWorks, an upside down attraction.
- Hire a Jet Ski at Buena Vista Watersports.
