SeaWorld was ranked the 7th most visited amusement park in the USA in 2007 and 12th most visited in the world (report), a testament to credibility of the attraction. Who would argue with 5.8 million visitors?
The park offers you the chance to see various sea life from stingrays and dolphins to alligators and a killer whale.

Sky Tower takes you 400 feet above the park, giving you a bird's eye view of the attraction. This was closed due to high winds when we tried to board. There was an additional $3 fee per person which would have been worth it to experience the views of the park and beyond.

The venue also offers a handful of rides though the highlight of the park has to be the shows by the animals and their keepers. These displays not only help to keep the animals active and happy in their environment but also provide spectacular displays for guests.

Believe was the show running when we visited and stars Shamu, the killer whale SeaWorld is reknowned for. The show was fantastic and was the best show at SeaWorld during our 3 park visits.
The Believe show was excellently choreographed and whilst video captures some of the atmosphere, it certainly doesn't compare with being there. Luckily, we went on Labor Day which is a big deal in America. The reason this was lucky for us was that it was the last "after dark" show run by SeaWorld that season - had we have gone anytime after, we could watch the Believe show but not the after dark show called "Shamu Rocks".
Top Tip! We bought a pair of Orlando FlexTicket's from 365 Tickets and found them to be great value, especially as you can use them as often as you like. We would recommend you buy all your part tickets, the Orlando FlexTicket or the Orlando FlexTicket Plus from a company such as 365 Tickets a few weeks before you fly. You'll save time, hassle and money.
Several places sold park tickets on International Drive although the prices of these, whilst better than direct from the theme parks, were significantly more expensive than pre-booking on the Internet.
You can buy drinks as you go along at a rough cost of around $3-$4 a drink. For around $8 you can buy a refillable Shamu cup. This brings refils of soft drinks down to around $2 a time or free for iced water. The benefit (besides much cheaper drinks) is that you can use this in Aquatica too. We bought pop the first time and then kept topping it up with water (we went through a serious amount - it's hot out there!). We visited SeaWorld and Aquatica a total of 4 times and made our money back after trip 2. Had we taken kids with us, we would have saved money incredibly quickly.
