Pizza Hut International Drive Review

Pizza HutPizza Hut is a safe bet worldwide as you'll get a similar offering regardless of which outlet you visit.

There were some local variations at Pizza Hut International Drive such as the addition of buffalo wings but the lack of desserts and The Ice Cream Factory usually seen in British Pizza Hut outlets.

We arrived at around 5.30pm after our helicopter trip. We were the only people there. It took five minutes for the staff to notice us so we had considered leaving. We received an apology and were seated. Service was fast and with a smile.

Starter

We didn't fancy any of the starters offered so we asked if we could share a main meal as a starter. This was fine so we ordered 10 (boneless because I'm fussy) buffalo wings in a barbeque honey sauce.

These were unbelievably tasty and had we have gone back a second time, I would have probably had these as a main course meal rather than pizza.

Pizza Hut Buffalo Wings

Main Course

We built our own pizza combination with a couple of toppings. Whilst looking we noticed it was possible to save a few dollars by building your own rather than choosing from their identical ready made pizzas.

The pizza was served more or less as we finished the starter, which meant we felt slightly rushed.

We only managed half a pizza and were given a box to take the remaining slices back to the hotel. This came in handy as a late night snack :-)

Service

Our waiter was a little haphazard but did offer great service.

It was a disappointment to see him write "Thanks! 15%-20% service not included" on the bottom of the bill. I felt somewhat insulted that he had to do this as we were ready to tip him. Consequently, we tipped him the lower end of the scale rather than the top end as originally planned.

Price

The bill came to around $25 including tax.
