They don't come more quintessentially American than Johnny Rockets. It's a 50's style diner restaurant serving classic American burgers, chips and onion rings.
We went twice, once on the second night and again on the final night (my birthday). The first time we went we over-ordered as the portions of chips and onion rings were huge! We learned our lesson the second time!
The chips (fries) were tasty as were the fresh onion rings. They are served with a tray of ranch sauce ( a garlic-herb sauce) as well as a tray with a smiley face of tomato ketchup.

The way to describe the burger is by imagining a McDonalds Big Mac, only larger and cooked while you wait. The burger is served as a main meal wrapped in a paper wrapper to hold it together.

We had milkshakes one night and ice cream soda float the next. The milkshakes were freshly made and it showed. Also, the surpless the waiter couldn't fit into the glass was placed on the table so we could help ourselves once we made room in the glass.
The soda float was okay but not the best in the world.
The first night we went, the waiter couldn't do enough for us. He was very helpful and seemed solely concerned with us.
The second night was a different case. The waiter seemed more intent on showing off and getting a large volume of customers through the door. Not once were we asked if everything was okay, and we weren't offered desert. He also failed to bring us our change, keeping it for himself.
A mean of two burgers, fries and onion rings, together with two drinks cost around $20-$25.
We were disappointed not seeing any dancing as per the clip below :-)
