Busch Gardens Tampa (also referred to as Busch Gardens Africa) is an
African themed attraction park.
Getting around the park is easy thanks to a train that tops at various African themed stations or a cable car lift that runs across the park.
The park comprises of various animal exhibits mixed with rollercoaster rides and traditional theme park rides. There's enough to keep everyone happy.
Busch Gardens Tampa is approximately 85 miles away from Orlando so getting there isn't easy. However, with an Orlando FlexTicket Plus (see 'Top Tip' below), free return travel to the park is included in the price. That's one less thing to worry about.
Top Tip! We bought a pair of Orlando FlexTicket's from 365 Tickets and found them to be great value, especially as you can use them as often as you like. We would recommend you buy all your part tickets, the Orlando FlexTicket or the Orlando FlexTicket Plus from a company such as 365 Tickets a few weeks before you fly. You'll save time, hassle and money.
Several places sold park tickets on International Drive although the prices of these, whilst better than direct from the theme parks, were significantly more expensive than pre-booking on the Internet.
