Burger King Orlando Review

We visited Burger King on the first couple of days we were in Orlando for breakfast. There's a restaurant five minutes walk from Doubletree.

We stumbled on it by accident but for the first day or two we longed for something familiar - with a McDonalds or Burger King, you roughly know what to expect regardless of it's location in the world.

This was our first introduction into the world of American cuisine.

The first morning we visited, we had already eaten the free cookie from Doubletree and had a coffee. We only needed something small before heading to Universal Studios. We tried a "sausage biscuit". This is essentially a burger shaped sausage patty sandwiched between a savoury scone. Having never tired this before, it was rather pleasant. It was satisfying for our first day. The price was $0.99 plus tax each.

The second morning, we splashed out! We tried a "Ham Omelet" which consisted of sweet ham, an omlette patty and a slice of cheese in a hamburger bun. This wasn't as nice as the sausage biscuit as the sweet ham made it taste a little odd.

We also bought a small portion of has browns. These are bite-size circles or hash brown and a small portion consisted of around 20 of these.

The price of the second day was around $2.50 plus tax each.
