We had looked at taking a flight but whilst researching, their website at http://www.airfloridahelicopters.com/ was constantly offline.
They run a range of nearly two dozen different flights and you choose which suits you and your budget. The basic ones take you North around Universal Studios or South towards the shopping areas. The more elaborate tours go over Disney World.
The basic tours start at around $35 (plus tax) per person ranging through to $300+.
We opted for a five minute flight over the North side of International Drive for a few reasons, primarily cost. There's a $3.50 per person surcharge (off topic: fuel at gas stations averaged $3.50 a gallon whilst we were there) on top of the flight fee per person. We spent around $80 for the flight for the two of us.
There were two parties in front of us so we had to wait around 10 minutes which wasn't a problem in the air-conditioned building.
Before we boarded, there was a quick safety brief and as we boarded, several photos were taken.
The helicopter itself was red and had four seats - that's the extent of my aircraft knowledge!
We had plenty of photo opportunities although five minutes whizzes past very fast!
The day was clam although due to the small size of the helicopter, the aircraft bobbed around with the wind a few times.
Once on the ground, we were shown our photos. As a keen photographer, I know what to look for and to be honest, those taken by my other half were significantly better. Theirs suffered from glare and were printed on an inkjet printer whilst we were flying. Needless to say we didn't walk away with these pictures (costing between $15 and around $50) although we did take a pre-recorded DVD ($15) which shows the highlights of the tours we didn't do.

Here's the video of our 3 minute 49 second flight! Nothing compares with being up there - and we'd do it again if we had the chance. The vdeo clip shows the flight from the base up to Universal and back along I-Drive.
